The coming together of the exciting Essexbased instrumental band Mawkin and honeyvoiced Devonian Jim Causley to form the only ‘boy band’ with an English traditional repertoire has proved to be a marriage made in heaven -Jim’s distinctive baritone voice complementing perfectly Mawkin’s textured arrangements and dynamic musicianship.
