Michael Marra
T0
As far back as 1969, Scotsman Michael Marra was on the music scene in a still swinging London. The first influence he cites is the West Indian popular music then emerging - ska, blue beat and early reggae. He sits at piano and microphone delivering caustic visions of the Scottish past and wickedly funny and sometimes achingly poignant, parables of the present.
