After a highly successful performance at London s prestigious Albert Hall in April 2011, founder member Mike Hurst has reformed The Springfields for a world tour. The Springfields had success in the early 60s with hits Island Of Dreams, Say I Won?t Be There and Silver Threads & Golden Needles which reached the Top 20 in the USA. An unusual achievement in those days and the first hit ever by a British vocal group! The group was formed in 1960 by Tom Springfield with his sister Dusty who went on to become a star in her own right. Mike went on to produce over 50 hits. An historic and inspiring evening s entertainment.
