They do not claim to be the 'voice of Asian youth', they are not fusing the West with 'a spiritually vibrant and exotic culture' and they're not running away from arranged marriages. What they do is produce music that is an epic of explosive percussion and crafty melody lines. It's a collaboration of a classically trained tabla player from Bombay, who turned tradition on it's head with his album
Drum the Bass and an underground breadbeat, drum 'n' bass DJ from East London that defies typecasting. Expect a hypnotic hybrid of techo, jazz, drum 'n' bass and trip-hop laced with Asian rhythms, soaring melodies and psychedelic sitar and ripping tabla.
