The UK’s finest young guitarists, directed by Oxford based composer Gerald Garcia will be making a welcome return to the North Wall having sold out the venue in 2009. NYGE will be presenting a stunning eclectic programme of works for guitar ensemble and electric guitar, featuring the iconic Electric Counterpoint by Steve Reich and works by Carroll, Dyens, Love and Garcia. NYGE was founded in 1999 by the European Guitar Teachers’ Association and offers the highest standard of ensemble training in the UK for young aspiring guitarists. Special guest soloist for the evening is guitarist Bridget Mermikides.
