This event focuses on music making in the North and Folkworks connections with Scandinavia and other countries across the North Sea. The evening will include: Mouthful. Katherine Zeserson s four piece acapella group with Sharon Durant, Bex Mather and Dan Brady, performing songs from Finland inspired by Katherine s collaborations with Toni Edelmann and Rajaton Swap. The Anglo-Swedish folk duo, featuring Ian Carr, Karen Tweed, Ola Backstrom and Carrina Normansson. Keith Morris with The Bergen Connection. An exciting new Anglo-Norwegian jazz collaboration developed via Keith s residency in Bergen. With, Dag Arnesen, Wenche Gausdal, Sigurd Ulverseth, Frank Jacobson, Lewis Watson, Brian Whittle and Noel Dennis. There will also be a performance of Steve Reichs Vermont Counterpoint performed by a Northern Sinfonia Flautist.
