Join the world-famous Orchestra of Welsh National Opera for an evening of popular and well-known pieces from opera and the orchestral repertoire. During the second half, a cast of guest singers from the world of opera join the Orchestra to perform scenes from Verdi's romantic opera
La traviata. This tragic love story is set in the glittering world of society soirees. Violetta, a beautiful courtesan, falls desperately in love with Alfredo, but social convention and time are against them. WNO will present a specially adapted staging of the opera with full orchestral accompaniment.
