Sangeet Sabha will commence with a special Bhakti concert by the legendary Pandit Jasraj, the contemporary master of north Indian vocals. He is endowed with a rich, soulful, sonorous voice that creates traditional music as an intense spiritual expression. Pandit Jasraj is the recipient of many great honours, including Padma Vibhusan, one of the highest civilian honours bestowed by the president of India for his contribution to Indian music.
