For the first complete Proms performance of Handel's Partenope, the cast of the Royal Danish Opera's new production, conducted by period specialist Lars Ulrik Mortensen, is led by 1993 Cardiff Singer of the World, Inger Dam-Jensen, and star counter-tenor Andreas Scholl.
