Wagner - Parsifal

Concert performance; sung in German. Sir Mark Elder conducts the Halle in Parsifal, Wagner's final epic drama of renunciation and redemption, with Robert Holl as Gurnemanz, the veteran Knight of the Grail. Lars Cleveman is the Holy Fool Parsifal and Katarina Dalayman the penitential Magdalen figure, Kundry. There will be two intervals, of 50 and 35 minutes. Finish time: approx. 22:10
