Richie fronts a 7-piece band who have been together for a number of years now, and it shows because they are as tight as you can get. They play all types of blues and rhythm `n' blues, from New Orleans, Chicago, West Coast Swing to Texas Boogie with a little Soul and Rock `n' Roll thrown in. This is reflected in Richie's influences which are B.B. King, Ray Charles, Albert Collins, T-Bone Walker and Junior Wells. All of which he has seen performing live and noted how they worked their audiences. This has resulted in his band giving superb entertainment at their gigs.
