The stars of this year s Schubertiad, apart from the music of Schubert of course, are The Prince Consort; a dynamic group of singers led by pianist Alisdair Hogarth. We have the luxury of four singers in residence for the weekend enabling us to hear several singers in each concert and also to experience vocal ensemble music both by Schubert and also his great admirer and successor Brahms.
