The Scottish National Jazz Orchestra is delighted to feature the extraordinary talents of bass guitarist Laurence Cottle, in a celebration of the Music of Jaco Pastorius. One of the most influential musicians of the twentieth century, Jaco brought the bass guitar to the melodic forefront of jazz (and pop music), propelling the rhythm with unstoppable energy.
