The duo combine their delicate and mesmerising voices with Simon's often astonishing guitar playing. Their song writing is lyrical, thoughtful and powerful. While their sound is fresh and original it draws proudly upon the great tradition of British song writing that includes such luminaries as Richard and Linda Thompson, Bert Jansch, Roy Harper and Sandy Denny. While these influences can be heard in both their writing and performance, Simon and Rosalind will certainly appeal to the same audience as Kathryn Williams, Kate Rusby, Eliza Carthy and David Gray.
