Taking as their theme "Cousin jacks" - mining families who left Cornwall in the 18th and 19th Centuries to establish a strong Cornish presence across the world - young singers from five secondary schools and their feeder primaries perform a diverse musical repertoire reflecting the mining Diaspora's rich cultural inheritance. Songs from Africa, North and South America, Australia and more brought to you as part of a very special evening's entertainment. This super "Sing Up!" Cluster project funded by countinYou has provided valuable training for teachers and young singing leaders, as well as exciting performance opportunities such as tonight's event.
