Sona Jobarteh brings her TAAMO TOUR on a ten date jaunt around the UK- with special appearances at Glastonbury, Africa Oye and London Jazz Festival. To see the first Woman Kora playing Griot from an ancient lineage that started in Mali and The Gambia is already a thrill - but as WOMAD audiences discovered last summer, her singing and electric band featuring hot rhythms is really something not to be missed.
