The era of the Big Bands is re-created by South Shields' very own Community big Band, led by accomplished local musician Tommy Moran. Made up of amateur, retired and semi-professional musicians, the band play a wonderful selection of 40's and 50's swing standards made famous by Count Basie, Glenn Miller and more.
