Production details

The programme will begin with Stravinsky's masterpiece, the music for the ballet Firebird, followed by a performance of Prokofiev's ethereal Violin Concerto, which will be performed by the brilliant young Russian violinist, Alexander Sitkovetsky. The second half of the programme will see the orchestra perform Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5.
