T389301317 Beginning when he was 15 Grossman studied with acoustic blues and gospel singer/ guitarist the Rev Gary Davis for almost eight years, absorbing all he could. He also leant with Mississipi John Hurt, Son House and Skip James and was influenced by artists such as Sam McGee and Charley Patton.
