Benga, African Head Charge, JazzSteppa, Dusk & Blackdown

Original innovators Adrian Sherwood (with his pioneering On-U Sound label) and Tony Thorpe (Moody Boyz) defined the sounds of their era. Both remain a significant inspiration on dub influenced music now. Since the turn of the millennium, artists like Benga (graduate of South London's grime / garage scene) and Dusk + Blackdown have harnessed the sparse beats of UK garage, techno's energy, jungle's skank and dub reggae to create dubstep. With live performances from African Headcharge and Jazz Steppas', plus DJ sets from the whole crew, it's one short step from the dub originators to the dubstep revolution in this groundbreaking club night! STRICTLY OVER 18'S ONLY - ID REQUIRED Corn Exchange. Brighton Festival Fringe
