Mesmerizing debut from cult Australian trio of improvisors who occupy a haunting space between post-rock, post-jazz and minimalism. Not entirely ambient, nor minimalist, nor jazz, The Necks create a music that is unique in the world today. Since their beginnings 23 years ago, they have continued to craft an immersive, hypnotic, ritual-like concert experience that allows the listener to perceive the very fundamentals of music in a completely new light.
