The Swingcats are back with a brand new show to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the end of World War II. Featuring great songs made famous by The Andrews Sisters, Vera Lynn and other 40's greats including We'll Meet Again, Wish Me Luck, Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree and of course I'll Be Seeing You. Using images from the period and wartime costumes, the girls will re-create the look as well as the sounds of the forties. With real life stories and anecdotes from the era, mingled with wonderful music from the war years, Nicola Auld, Laura Ellis, Alyson Orr and Karen MacIver at the piano will provide a memorable evening of nostalgia and beautiful 3 part harmonies.
