The Vernon Ladies Choir

The Vernon Ladies Choir is holding its annual fundraising concert for St Luke s Cheshire Hospice, and is hoping to equal last year s total of 1,500 for this worthy cause. There will be a variety of light hearted songs and carols and the evening will be compered by the well known dramatist, Thelma Eastwood Angus, who will also amuse the audience with her delightful recitations. Once again professional pianist John Gough will play the Steinway and also accompany as a talented instrumentalist. John is senior piano tutor at the Royal Northern College of Music as well as Head of Keyboard at Liverpool University and visiting tutor at Manchester University. Come and enjoy and support this worthy cause. Raffle and Christmas Stall in foyer.
