Production details
The Vienna Proms is based closely on the wonderful summer concerts given in Vienna each year. The National Concert Orchestra perform a full program of the ever popular melodies of Strauss, Mozart, Beethoven, and other great Austrian composers of the period. The concert also features the dance routines of the 'Strauss Waltzers' who make impromptu appearances, dressed, of course, in the 'glitzy' costumes of the period. The concert closes in the traditional manner, with the rousing 'Radetsky March', whilst having featured memorable favourites such as 'The Blue Danube Waltz' 'Die Fledermaus' 'An Artiste's Life' 'Tritsch Tratsch Polka' 'Wine, Women and Song' and many, many more.
