This gig is a coup for Notts Jazz Consortium. At the culmination of Darius Brubeck's highly successful year teaching and playing at the Nottingham University, he leaves us with this parting gift. Darius is joined for this one off concert by his brothers, Chris and Dan, on bass and drums. The group also has saxophonist Dave O'Higgins who has built up such a successful partnership with Darius this year. The programme features a mix of standards, originals, South African jazz and classic Brubeck.
