Tina May with The Frank Harrison Trio
T0
Tina May remains the most expressive and technically gifted of the current wave of female jazz singers. Tina's introduction to jazz started during her university days in Cardiff and Paris when she also developed her theatrical bent for comedy reviews, performing with Rory Bremner. Tina however, concentrated on her musical aspirations and singing jazz for a living. She is a delightful entertainer who quickly develops a close rapport with her audience. Frank Harrison is best known to most jazz audiences as a member of Gilad Atzmon's ?Orient House' band, but here he shows his versatility by providing Tina with perfect support plus some wonderful piano soloing.
