A prodigies talent whose performance at the International Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival won him instant recognition as one of the UK's most exciting and original blues artists to emerge since the 1960s. Influenced by a fusion of blues styles, Ty's guitar based blues roots derive from the early solo acoustic recordings of delta blues singers together with the electrified Chicagoan combos of Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker and Otis Rush.
