United Nations 60th Birthday Gala Concert

United Nations 60th Birthday Gala ConcertT0139425375
In celebration of the United Nations' 60th Birthday and in aid of the One World Trust, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Owain Arwel Hughes will perform Holst's The Planets, Chopin's Second Piano Concerto in F Minor and Rossini's William Tell Overture. The concert features the prodigiously talented twelve year old Benjamin Grosvenor, whose piano playing won the keyboard section of the BBC's Young Musician of the Year 2004. Benjamin Grosvenor has astounded audiences and critics alike with his renditions of emotionally and technically challenging pieces. Hear this outstanding young pianist who is just embarking on what will doubtless be a remarkable musical career!
