A glorious evening of opera with stars from the Metropolitan Opera House, the State Opera of Budapest, Budapest Operetta Theatre and leading European Opera Houses performing in Britain for the first time. Highlights from Puccini, Verdi, Bizet and Strauss amongst many others performed to live orchestral accompaniment under the baton of one of Hungary's leading conductors Katalin Varady.
