A gala performance of operatic highlights from our talented singers. Enjoy excerpts from Stravinsky?s The Rakes Progress - based on a series of engravings by William Hogarth, Auden's text is set in beautifully lyrical arias. This morality tale in which the spectre of death is never far away contrasts with Janacek's Cunning Little Vixen, a mixture of tragedy and comedy set in a world of animals.
