Production details

The Royal Ballet 75th Anniversary. Turkey straddles the cultural as well as the geographical border between East and West and Dame Ninette's success in establishing classical dance there was therefore all the more extraordinary. Turkish State Ballet joins the celebrations with works by Turkish choreographers including Mehmet Balkan, Beyhan Murphy and Uður Seyrek. This programme will be danced by a specially formed ensemble chosen from the two principal State Ballet companies of - Ankara and Istanbul. Linbury Studio
