A Freedom of Expression

A Freedom of ExpressionT0
This diverse line up, presented by the Hip Festival, captures the coolness, the inventiveness, the energy - in short, the hipness - of Black British dance today. The first half of the evening features a series of short solos by Celia Grannum, Andrew Obaka, Bawren Tavaziv, Jane Sekonya and ex-English National Ballet dancers Noel Wallace and Brenda Edwards. The second half premieres Vesper a new work created by Barcelona-born Rafael Bonachela, associate choreographer and member of Rambert Dance Company. Oswaldo Macia provides an original symphonic sound score for the piece.
