ACE is a young company of two musicians and three dancers creating innovative and direct creating innovative and direct performances that explore African and Caribbean cultures. Solitude or Sanctuary is inspired by both the good and the bad aspects of family life shown through the following three pieces: Woman - is a solo piece portraying a mother figure who longs for a child; Two's Company - looks at twins who have bee separated at birth; each has his own movement and musical motif. When they meet later in life their reaction to one another is confused; Generations - a family gathering where elders recall life in the Caribbean and the youngsters just want to have fun!
