Following the highly acclaimed run of Yerma in 2015, Amina Khayyam Dance Company (AKDC) returns to Edfringe with SLUT - a new Kathak dance-theatre piece exploring labels given to women who do not conform to expectation. Slut is an ongoing development of kathak's ang abhinaya by Dancer and Choreographer Amina Khayyam in which she steps up the collaboration with physical theatre/mime as seen recently in her show, A THOUSAND FACES about acid attacks on women because of their gender.
