Back 2 Back premieres seven dance pieces by the next generation of inspiring talent: Louise Bennett, Tim Blowfield, Raymond Chai, Christopher Marney, Jo Meredith, Stephen Sheriff, and James Wilton, ranging in style from neo-classical to contemporary. All works are collaborations with installation artist Aishleen Lester. Like an unconscious visual or sensual memory, husk-like forms willingly adapt to their surroundings in the sculptural installations of Lester. These sculptures are an expression of movement in space, both real and imagined, made visible.
