The Magic Fish communicates big ideas to small children. ATMA Dance's modern take on a classic Indian myth stimulates thought about the essentials for life on earth. Weaving a mix of classical Indian and Contemporary dance with Indian scat singing 'konnakol', young audiences (5+ years) are introduced to their first taste of Bharatanatyam. Take part in a workshop before The Magic Fish and participate in the performance by creating a symbolic gift that represents your ideas and place it in a boat that the Magic Fish tows away to make a new world
