Production details

The 2008 repertoire gives audiences the rare opportunity to enjoy dance by Mark Baldwin (Rambert Dance Company), Matthew Bourne (New Adventures), Russell Maliphant (Russell Maliphant Company), David Nixon (Northern Ballet) and Ashley Page (Scottish Ballet) in a single programme. In addition a new ballet by hristopher Hampson will be featured in the repertoire, together with favourites from Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker and a slick new jazz number by Phil Aiden. The celebrated live music by Philip Feeney will accompany a new Sara Matthews work and Christopher Gable’s Cinderella Fireside. The Ballet Central dancers are all graduate students at Central School of Ballet. Renowned for their vibrant performances and inspiring artistry, this acclaimed young company has been the springboard for hundreds of successful performers around the world. Wilde Theatre
