Basingstoke Academy of Dancing has two productions this summer, reflecting the growing size and diversity of its performing arts offering to all ages. 2pm performances - The Snow Queen - a children’s ballet composed by Wendy Picton and Let’s Dance - Lower school students supported by B.A.D. Company will perform an adapted version of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytale for Act I followed by a variety performance of more jazzy creative in Act II. 7.30pm performances - An Audition - A Musical - Upper school students present a performance journey drawing on some of the inspiration and themes of dance musicals and films such as A Chorus Line, Fame and Billy Elliot.
