The Category Finals of BBC Young Dancer 2015 come to The Riverfront, with the UK's best young dancers performing in this brand new award. Dancers aged 16-20 from all over the UK were invited to enter in four categories: Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop and South Asian Dance. We're down to five in each category and tonight it's the Contemporary dancers who will perform in front of a panel of judges for the Contemporary title and a place in the BBC Young Dancer Grand Final. Highlights of this performance will be shown on BBC Four in April as part the BBC's 'Year of Song and Dance'. There will be television cameras in the theatre.
