Birmingham Royal Ballet - Cyrano archiveNew Production. This hilarious and heartbreaking story of one of man's truly self-sacrificing devotion, is set in 17th century France and has been made famous to modern audiences through stage and film. Set to a specially commissioned score by Carl Davis, Cyrano tells the story of poet and soldier Cyrano who pens love letters to the beautiful Roxane on behalf of his friend.
