Clockwork (Aiduronijo) oscillates within the different components of time through intricate interaction and precise movements and features live music by international jazz and classical composer Tim Garland. Glory. In this new duet, Sakoba show how in today’s endless pursuit of material goals we often disregard our spiritual selves, take everything for granted, and forget to give thanks. The evolution of dance via diverse cultures, across continents and through time has produced a vast array of dance styles. Okan’ Nijo shows how commonalities do exist, and how the roots can often be traced back to a single thread.
