BOLD MOVES is a packed afternoon performance featuring exciting new international urban dance: 4Sounds: Inspired by trance music and set to a live DJ, leading french Hip-hop dancer and choreographer Delphine Caron displays her amazing skill at paring down Hip-hop to its barest form and essential expressive power. Rush: a fast-paced male duet, choreographed by Bangalore-based dancer Ajeesh K. Balakrishnan. As two men carry out their daily tasks, they suddenly dream of a more exciting life - a story of fantasy, told with athleticism, strength and humour. Padheyam: a physically demanding male duet using elements of Indian martial art form, Kalari Payattu, acrobatics and Contemporary dance. Padheyam explores the inner conflict of a man’s journey. Plus: short works by two of Bournemouth’s leading hip-hop crews, Beat and Shake.
