Shhh!
Books flying overhead, free-running on moving shelves and falling in love with the enemy - all this in a library? C-12 Dance Theatre's exciting and explosive new show Shhh! is a love story told over four seasons by five theatrical performers who manipulate the set and surroundings to create an innovative and powerful piece of dance theatre. The set is mostly recycled from the New Barnfield Library, Hatfield Hertfordshire, which sadly closed down in 2012 - but Shhh! brings it gloriously back to life. Choreographed by Artistic Director of C-12 Dance Theatre, Annie-Lunnette Deakin-Foster; original, specially commissioned music composed and produced by award winning film and TV composer, Jamie Salisbury; projection and lighting design, Arnim Friss for Pixelbox. Shhh! is produced by C-12 Dance Theatre, ARC, Stockton, Hawthorne Theatre, funded by Arts Council, Hawthorne Theatre, ARC, Stockton and C-12 Dance Theatre, with additional support from The Albany and Dance Digital.
