Cabaret Valise is a box of curiosities, a dance theatre piece where familiar performance genres fragment and harmonise in a flaunting of ideas, sometimes it's elegant and quaintly surreal, sometimes naive, bold or blatant - The work deals with the complexities and frustrations of touring as a comic duo - hell bent on entertaining and innuendo, providing magical images with helium-filled alter egos - but exasperated by each other's lack of sophistication.
