Running time 1 hr 35 mins with no interval. Life is Rhythm is the latest work from this dance quintet, combining tap dance with drum and hand percussion using African instruments and beats. The performance mounts a steep slope of rising rhythms and intensifying energy, reaching dizzy levels of speed, exertion, skill and manic humour. On stage, enormous drums become platforms for the dancers, using their bodies as versatile human drumsticks.
