Capital Nights 2008 is a European dance festival bringing the finest contemporary dance companies from across the continent to Liverpool for 4 days this autumn, to celebrate Liverpool’s status as European Capital of Culture 2008. Capital Nights 2008 explores dance that is both classical in nature but also experimental, through a variety of companies based in cities/countries that have hosted European Capital of Culture’s in the past. From 29 October - 1 November dance lovers can explore the depth and diversity of the cultural capital through a new and exciting dance experience. Capital Nights 2008 will feature companies from Ireland, Holland, Italy and the UK and highlights many Liverpool based dance companies including Andrea Buckley, Taciturn, Collisions, House of Suarez and Guerilla Dance, the festival also includes the critically acclaimed Galili Dance and Anouk van Dijk.
