Ella G - T1556983530

Ella G previously toured to rave reviews in 2003 selling out theatres all over Wales. The show is a riotous mix between a wedding and a wake with chairs flying through the air, bizarre drinking games and a raffle where you can actually win prizes ! The international cast of six mix precision and speed with the drama of human interaction and includes some of Europe’s most accomplished and distinctive performers - Belinda Neave, Geir Hyten and Sarah Dowling - along with recent graduates Siobhon Maguire and Iain Payne. Integral to the piece is a continuous montage of live music from James Williams who has previously worked with the Welsh National Opera and the English Shakespeare Company to name but two.

A beautiful and poetic new dance theatre performance. Following the success of last year the company will be working with local young people to create an exciting dance work. With Ella G. the company mixes frivolous entertainment, hints of Polish folk dance, with heart-breaking revelations. Ella G. features six performers and live music by Carlson regular James Williams. The cast of three men and three women are drawn from Gibraltar, Germany, Belgium and Wales. With Carlson's unique absurd humour Ella G. is a refreshing slice of breathtaking entertainment that can be enjoyed and appreciated by all with no age restrictions.
