A collaboration between five dancers using the diverse rhythms of Flamenco footwork as a source for developing Contemporary dance material. Analysing the structure of common flamenco rhythms - alegrias, bulerias and tangos - and using flamenco footwork as sound score they will explore ways in which they might enrich western Contemporary dance. Choreographer Carmen Vilches leads a team of specialist Flamenco and Contemporary practitioners to include Eleanor McDonald, Lola Rueda and Carlos Otero.
