Centre for Indian Contemporary Dance in Association with Curve. An evening with the most talented up-and-coming male dancers of Britain - presenting Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi and Contemporary. Join us for an evening with some of the most talented professional dancers from the UK, who perform in the styles of Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi and contemporary. The show will feature Aakash Odedre, an acclaimed British-Indian Kathak dancer, who is fast becoming one of the most sought after dancers in the UK; Ash Mukherjee, whose solos are ‘works of art’ (Dance Europe); Sooraj Subramaniam, a virile yet gentle dancer who echos the fluidity of South Asian dance, and Revanta Sarabhai, who uses his training in Indian classical Bharatanatyam, folk and contemporary dance to create modern vocabulary.
