Chiaroscuro Dance returns with a new group piece, created to an abstract soundscape from artist Mark Whitford. The new work is called 'Stop, Look, Listen and Follow' and is based on journeys, be they physical or metaphorical, the people we meet and connections we make along the way. We can often feel that we are lost and confused while everyone around us has direction. At times it is solitary and lonely, lost in our own pathway and enveloped by our own journey. Some of the people we meet pass us by without acknowledgement and yet some break through our defences and impact on the journey of our lives. This piece will be shown as part of a dance evening presented by the company at the Bradford Playhouse where they are currently in residence, 2nd July 2010. The evening will include a video piece and new solo works created and performed by the companies resident dancers. It will also include the premiere of Stop, Look, Listen and Follow.
